The left grip has been replaced years ago, the right grip is O.E.M. laminated leather with a wooden end plug. The front button tread tire is a "Chicago Husky Boy" and was supplied by Chicago Cycle Supply, Chicago, Illinois. The rim size is 1-1/2" x 28". The wheel set is excellent and needs nothing to be put back into service. The crank assembly and pedals are original to this bicycle. The head badge is in mint condition and identifies this unique one-of-a-kind shaft drive bicycle as a Crescent No. 18 as produced by Western Wheel Works; Chicago, Illinois.
