Framed silk souvenir from the 1899 National Export Exposition in Philadelphia, made by the ' Sauquoit Silk Mrg. Co. Bethlehem, Philadelphia, Scranton, J.J. Jordan designer '. Ornately done with very fine stitching and measuring 11 1/2 " by 14 1/2 " in size in a simple wooden frame, President McKinley is at the top with Ben Franklin bottom right and an unknown gentleman ( unknown to me ) lower left ( a Quaker ? ). The Exposition Hall dominates the center above an American Eagle and red, white and blue Patriotic shield with a small section marked by moisture at the right which can be seen in the photo and some dark marks along the left edge. Trollys, horse drawn carriages and spectators can be seen milling around the hall along with a carrousel, it is very detailed and well done. Any questions please feel free to contact me, t is a $5.75 shipping fee and I accept Pay Pal, Thank you.
