Offered for sale: One nice looking Spanish "Artillera" 1899 Bayonet and Leather Scabbard. The16 inch blade has a bright to gray finish (no rust) and really does not have any indication or grind marks that is has been sharpened. Bayonet is approx 20 1/2 inches overall. Markings and serial number on blade are clear and easy to read. The grips are wood and have a nice cross hatch pattern that is still clear. The release button works correctly. The scabbard has two small cuts on the very top. The top metal and lower tip have a nice brownish/gray tone. Over all a nice over 100 year old bayonet.
