18kt Victorian Butterfly brooch/pin studded with Rose cut diamonds, diamond cut Rubies & blue Sapphires ! Hello all & welcome to our auctions. We present to you an exquisite showcase of antique / vintage / collector's jewelry pieces spanning many decades to centuries. These unique & one-of a kind pieces are sought after for their diversity and exotic craftsmanship. No technological marvel can add greater exotic beauty & rich feel than what these hand-made pieces represent ! We have this beautiful butterfly brooch, studded with genuine rose cut diamonds, red ruby rounds and large carved rubies. This Victorian butterfly was hand-crafted with intricate workmanship and is studded with exceptional rose cut diamonds, AAA quality fiery red ruby rounds and nice red & transparent carved rubies. In the pictures the rose cut diamonds appear darker because of the black background, but are actually sparkling white ! Please refer to the third picture in the description. And not just the diamonds but the ruby rounds are brilliant red because of the special diamond cuts. The butterfly measures 1-1/2 inches (38mm) long and 1-1/4 inches (32mm) wide. It is studded with about 1 carats of rose cut diamonds and 5 carats of genuine rubies. The diamonds and rubies are all genuine and natural, so you can bid with confidence. The butterfly weighs 11 grams. At the back it has a fine pin which locks securely. Comes from a special collection of unique jewelry artifacts. Study all the pictures and bid with confidence ! This butterfly has very nice details with two red rubies for the eyes, a nice tail set with diamonds and two large wings set with craved rubies !
