Hi folks!!! This is absolutely the most beautiful Victorian ring I have ever seen. I have had this ring for about 15 years and it is an extremely special piece. Let me tell you up front you are getting something very very special. It has had various gemologists opinions on this antique ring and the majority of them believe this is a "SHERRY IMPERIAL TOPAZ!!!" For any of you who are aware of just how rare and expensive a Sherry Imperial Topaz would be, you know that if the stones are Imperial Topaz you are getting an extremely rare ring. The other opinion from another gemologist was that these were "Pink Sapphires" which are also extremely expensive and t are also 2 diamonds in the center of the ring which are VS1, so either you are getting Sherry Imperial Topaz or the Pink Sapphires but either make this an extremely valuable and rare piece to cherish!!! It is marked 18K and is white gold filigree the 2 colored stones are approximately 1.25 ct. each. Light pink with a warm hue of a sometimes light almost tangerine color, (which is why the jewelers are having a hard time deciding that it is pink sapphire as opposed to sherry imperial topaz) They are "Seminavette cut" which is a rare cut and set in the beautiful Victorian setting. The 2 diamonds are approx. .01 ct. each, color H and single cut with clarity of VS1 as I said. Item weighs 3 grams and is a size 4 3/4. I must tell you that of all the jewelers I have shown this to, most believe it is the sherry imperial topaz, only one thought it was the pink sapphire. It is a hard item to part with and I have debated this over and over in my head before listing it, but I am going to try it and see if someone loves it as much as I do!!! A jeweler told me the setting alone is worth $2000 & stones and diamonds are perfect!! Good luck folks and thank you for stopping by!!!
