This is an 18th Century inscribed ceremonial bronze Jue. These later cast bronze pieces were given to commemorate special occasions. Ancient vessels were used for ancestor worship. This nice example of an early 18th century date is 16 cm high by 16.5 cm wide. Typical wear is present without without damage. Thank you for looking. Please write with any questions.
