Early 18th C sake wine pot. Native Japanese cobalt painting of dragons in clouds all but indiscernable because the color has flowed too much. Two firing cracks on the inside under the lid on the rim. One stress crack on the bottom. Wheel thrown and handpainted. No chips. About 1730 and possibly old Hirado. About 9" tall x 6" dia. Seldom seen at shows or outside of museums.
