Two eighteenth century pewter coffee pots. Both are marked with a crowned rose and angel Michael. The one with wooden handle also has a Brussels mark while the other has two I's between the other marks. The one with the wooden handle stands 12.5" high at the finial and has an initials engraved on the lid with the date "1858".My guess is that this was a wedding gift and that the pot is older than the date.It is in fair condition with some small dents and dings and a small hole at the back of the lid.I feel like the handle and handle mounts are probably early twentieth century replacements judging by their inferior quality. The second jug measures 10.5" high and is in fair condition with some small dents and dings throughout. The shell shaped thumpiece has been bent forward causing stress and a crack to the back of the lid.Shipping for both will be 20.00
