This bisque head doll is somewhat rare. She is usually found as white. She has very good bisque without hairlines or repairs to the head. One earring hole has a sliver off the back side. A little paint would hide it. The compo body is marked Handwerck and is in good condition except for the knee joints. The previous owner replaced the knee balls with substitutes--see picture. These could easily be removed and proper balls put in. The rest of her body has very minor wear at the joints and no breaks or missing parts. She has brown set eyes and an open mouth. Her original wig is very thin so some black mohair strands were added to the front so she would look better in her mammy outfit. All clothing has been replaced. It is of cotton and in great condition and quite charming. She is a very pretty mammy doll. She has gold earrings which are replacements. She is very pretty and quite valuable. This is a consigned item so answers to questions may take an email to the owner so be patient. Thanks.
