19+ Gram 14K Etruscan Stampato Necklace * Won’t Scrap This One! I know everyone is melting down gold these days, but I doubt anyone would want to melt this gorgeous necklace. I’ve never seen another quite like it---it’s just breathtaking, as I hope the photographs show. It would make an astonishing graduation gift, or would be beautiful on a bride. Any woman would feel like a princess wearing this piece. It has a classic, "Cleopatra Type" feel to it. Just amazing. I bought this from a jeweler over 10 years ago, but only wore it once or twice. It’s in absolutely mint condition….virtually brand new. It weighs between 19 and 20 grams. My scale only weighs in full gram increments, and it kept flickering between the two readings, so I’m showing it on the scale at 19 grams just to be conservative. It is a Stampato style, which means each segment of the necklace is individually molded. The front of each segment features a detailed, Etruscan beaded motif, while the backs are smooth and closed. I show a shot of the back so you can see how beautifully it is made. Clearly marked 14K and Italy on the slot-lock closure. Has the little fold-over hinge that makes sure you don’t lose it. Clasps very securely. There is absolutely no damage whatsoever. It's a lmost impossible to measure since Stampato necklaces can’t be stretched flat, but is between 16 and 17 inches.
