1960's 19" THUMBELINA DOLL by IDEAL MARKED ON NECK: IDEAL TOY CORP. 0TT-19 WORKING ORIGINAL MECHANISM AND WORKING ORIGINAL IDEAL LARGE PINK WOODEN KNOB **************************************************************************** DESCRIPTION OF DOLL 1960's Thumbelina doll that still cries. Her mechanism works and turns her head slowly, like a newborn. Thumbelina measures 19 inches and is MARKED: IDEAL TOY CORP. OTT-19 on her neck. Her hair is honey blond and her head is well covered. She is stuffed, with her original foam. She is clean from head to toe. She has retained all her painted facial features, and her face is in great shape, no darkening, rubs, or marks. (see pictures). Her body is pink, clean, and it's also odor free. There is only a slight darkening where the cloth meets the vinyl limbs. Her vinyl is a pretty pink and has all her fingers and toes, without any nibbles. There are a few stitches where her wire poked through the material at the neck. She is in very good condition, and is a darling doll. She comes from a smoke/pet free home. ******************************* ************************* DESCRIPTION OF OUTFIT Thumbelina comes in a brand NEW, very full, blue and white dress that has a large pink flowered print. It also has white lace around the bottom of each sleeve and along the hem and bodice. There is a pink ribbon bow in the center of the bodice that has streamers that hang down to the hem of the dress. The dress opens all the way down the back for easy dressing, and it closes with velcro. Her bloomers match the dress print and each leg has white lace around it with a pink satin bow on the front. She has a bonnet that is also made of material that matches her dress, and it has white lace framing her face, and it ties with pink satin ribbons. The doll is also wearing a NEW pair of blue knitted booties that tie with pink satin ribbons. This doll dress was made by an eBay seamstress and is really beautiful. She is ready to display.
