Antique & scarce "LARKIN PARLOR MATCH MADE EXPRESSLY FOR LARKING CO. ESTABLISHED 1875 BUFFALO, N.Y." stiff paper slide drawer type match box with its original white printing on red or blue on three sides, its original striker on one side and its original slide drawer box in place in nearest perfect original condition as found noting only the remnant of a piece of paper stuck upon the word "Larkin" on the side and retaining it's original as attic found lightest estate wear and dust soiling. Buffalo , N.Y. , 1900, possibly earlier. Guaranteed old and original; this is not a fake or reproduction. Actual weight 1/4 lbs. 4 7/8" long by 2 3/8" wide by 1 1/2" thick Today we are listing more of the small objects found in the back bedroom area of the upstairs of a Civil War Era farm near Canton , Maine . This area was used as an extended attic storage area beginning in the 1920's and we again list from the curious assortment of objects we found up there as we have in the past. All of the items were either originally in the room and found buried where they originally rested or are from boxes of stuff stored on top of the original room contents as the rooms were filled as if they were attic space.
