This piece measures just under 4" long overall and I'm guessing by the manufacturer name and wear that it was used in either in WWI or WWII - the middle barrel is stamped The Randall Faichney Co. Boston U.S.A. with the word Military stamped above that and a patent date of May 22, 1900. It is designed to hold 5 glass vials of tablets that can be desolved and injected - t are only four vials included and any powder or residue in the vials is incidental and being sold for collectible value, not as a medical cure or treatment. T are three needles included that screw onto the end of the syringe - the one on the syringe has a slightly bent needle. The piece looks to be chrome plated and does show age appropriate wear on some corners and edges.
The following rules apply to all of our auctions:
We do not end auctions early so please do not ask - emails asking us to end auctions early will go unanswered. We also do not offer 'Second Chance' items or offer to sell items outside of ebay. If you receive an email offering one of these services, please forward it to the fraud section of ebay as it is not us!
POSTAL RATES (INCLUDING INSURANCE ON ITEMS UNDER $50.00) HAVE INCREASED AS OF MAY 14th 2007 - OUR RATES HAVE INCREASED IN ACCORDANCE. LARGER PACKAGES ARE NOW SUBJECT TO DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT PRICES - PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE SHIPPING COSTS PRIOR TO BIDDING.
We use USPS Priority mail exclusively for domestic shipments and, because of changes in overseas shipments, we are NO LONGER shipping out of country. If you live outside the US and email asking us to ship to you anyway, your email will go unanswered. If you are not a US resident but have a US address to ship to, feel free to bid on the auction. Payment must be received within 10 days of auction end using either Paypal or money order/cashiers check - sorry, no personal checks are accepted.
All items are sold AS-IS. We test items whenever possible and try to describe everything as accurately as we can. Refunds will be issued for items received that are grossly mis-represented in the auction description, not in cases of buyers remorse or inability to read auction descriptions. Please request additional pictures before bidding on an item if you have any questions or concerns. You must contact us within 3 days of receiving item concerning a possible return (return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer).
We can combine shipping for all transactions paid on the same day only. If you win multiple auctions, we will pack the items carefully and then send a revised invoice with the combined shipping amount. Your bid is a binding contract so please bid only if you are serious about purchasing the item.
Insurance is not required but recommended on all packages and will be based on the final auction ending price - when paying by Paypal, simply add in the amount for insurance and I will make sure the package is insured. I use insurance rates quoted by the USPS which are as follows:
up to $50 - $1.65
up to $100 - $2.05
up to $200 - $2.45
up to $300 - $4.60
up to $400 - $5.50
up to $500 - $6.40
and so on.
We work from 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday and are unavailable to answer any questions or ship packages on the weekends.
We will be on vacation from Sat. June 16th til Thursday June 21st. All emails and items will be taken care of then. Thanks in advance for your patience.... read more
