A rare opportunity to have a beautiful Seth Thomas Adamantine Veneer Mantel Clock is all original and in running condition. The construction of this clock has a wood frame with a marbleized light brown adamantine veneer finish. There is one small chip in veneer at top right corner shown in 5th picture. There are three pillars on each side of the clock face. Each end has a decorative lion head style pulls. There are four ornate metal feet in great condition. The top of clock is unique in design and very attractive. The clock measures 16 inches wide, 12 1/2 inches tall, and 6 1/4 inches deep. The original back door has most of the instruction label dated Sept 7, 1880. The original movement is stamped 89 C . The movement was recently cleaned with ultrasound solution. The clock strikes a gong on the hour and a bell on the half hour. The decorative face and lens are original and in beautiful condition. Key and pendulum are included. Adjustments may be needed after being shipped. A fine clock to add to a quality collection and/or place in your home or office. Please check my other Ebay listings.
