You are bidding on an EARLY (BELIEVE 1900'S ERA) & TOUGH TO FIND BREWERY / BEER RELATED old "good for" style trade token which actually is " GOOD FOR 5c ON RETURN OF BOTTLE " at a business called " SOLANO BREWING CO. ", which was located in old downtown of VALLEJO, CALIFORNIA NICE OLD BRASS TOKEN. THIS IS A TOUGH TOWN TO FIND EXONUMIA FROM…with America seemingly consumed with "micro breweries" springing up everywhere…here is a great 1900s token from a small brewery likely located in old downtown Vallejo California….amazing. (not that many "brewing co" tokens listed from California) The town of Vallejo is located in Solano County, near San Pablo Bay….not far from towns of Benecia, Crockett and old Mare Island Ca. This old brass token is listed under Vallejo in the California token book. Nice old specimen These old brass BEER / BREWERY / BREWING COMPANY related tokens are very collectible today…..this token appears to be used when customer returned old beer bottle Trade token is brass metal, round, about 21mm in diameter ,and it displays very nicely. (please see pictures in gallery) a great looking specimen. Has not been cleaned, natural patina. Gallery pictures should give you all the information you need.
