1900 WELLER LOUWELSA/DICKENSWARE 7" HP TULIP JARDINIERE
DESCRIPTION and CONDITION The hand painted floral jardiniere measures 7" tall and is a 1900 product of Weller Pottery produced for the either the Louwelsa or Dickensware line. The jardiniere is unmarked but we have found various examples of the form in the The Collectors Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery by Sharon & Bob Huxford in both the Dickensware & Louwelsa areas. Other measurements are inner diameter 6 7/8", outer diameter approximately 8 1/2" and base diameter 4 3/4". It is decorated with what we believe to be a hand painted tulip but unfortunately it is not signed so the artist can not be identified. Unfortunately one of the previous owners decided to us it as a flower pot and drilled a hole in the bottom. Other than that the jardiniere is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or damage. SHIPPING INFORMATION The winning bidder pays shipping, handling and insurance of $15.00 when shipment is for the Lower Continental United States. Please inquire for Alaska, Hawaii and international shipping costs. We have calculated shipping based on USPS rates and keep the cost of handling to a minimum when possible. Our policy is to always combine shipping for multiple items when possible to reduce costs. We do all our packaging on Thursday and WE SHIP EVERY FRIDAY!! All payments cleared by Wednesday midnight will ship that week. PAYMENT We accept payment by personal or business check, domestic and international money orders or most major credit cards and bank funds through PayPal only.
