This is an Nice Running Example of a 1900 Mantle clock with a Original Signed Junghans Porcelain Dial with Ornate Hands- Dial is crack free & looks very nice I hope I look this good at this age!!Movement runs good -I couldn't find a Signature on it but have not looked underneath/behind it either-Movement looks the part as it's quite old but pretty clean & keeping good time right now-Case is in excellent condition-It's a Jacobean oak finish- Curved parts & sides are Veneer & the rest is Solid Wood-Very crisp Details in the wood work around the Door & Pillars- T is Scrolling around the front bottom of the case!Glass door is Original with Hand cutting & Hand painted Floral scene on the bottom-Really looks Vintage & well aged! Door opens & closes Correctly- Case has a fault in the top of the Curved Veneer which was Professionally restored & looks like a Knot in the wood-Hardly noticable-see picture otherwise the case is in excellent condition Quite large as it measures 14 Inches Long by 14 inches high & 4.75 inches deep-Key & pendulum are included but Pendulum is a New Polished Brass on stick version as the original one fell apart when it was bought & shipped to me?Gong is original & strikes on the hour-Seems it gongs a little early-Clock has not been serviced by me but is Running & keeping very good time -I usually Double box these
