You are bidding on a nice older "good for" trade token once used at a drinking establishment "tavern menagerie" in the town of Phoenix Oregon. Dont see that many tokens from Phoenix Oregon...located in Jackson County, south of Medford Or. Trade token is brass, round, about 19mm in diameter, and it has strong features, and displays nicely (please see pictures in gallery) Natural Patina intact One side says : " BARKLEY TAVERN MENAGERIE PHOENIX, ORE. " Other side says " GOOD FOR 10c IN TRADE " Often these "trade tokens" are found in "dug" condition...this is a wonderful problem-free specimen. Beautiful old token, once used in the "other" Phoenix.......................the one in Oregon state. Thanks so much for looking....collect and invest in history!!!!!
