VERY RARE AND SCARCE! Original 1901 Antique - Maxfield Parrish - 109 YEARS OLD!!! "THE KING" Printed ONCE - this one year only and this one size only! THIS IS NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION! There is just something so mystical about these 'Phoebus on Halzaphron' prints by Maxfield Parrish! Without even knowing the story, just by looking at these mysterious prints, you just know, from the bottom of your soul that the story is filled with love, hate, sorrow, regets, happiness and most of all the mystery! The caption for this image reads, "And their King ... watched ... their dark sails moving out against the sunset." This is a rather small image, but it is very scarce and rare. Hardly seen. It was NEVER reproduced as a newer reproduction, except in some reference books, and is hardly ever offered. This rare antique print, has been stored away all these years, and comes in a beautiful vintage style wood frame and is professionally framed using acid free materials to protect your investment.
