This is an early French menu from Compagnie des Messageries Maritimes, from the Paquebot, 'Senegal.' The menu portion was handwritten on April 12th, 1901. The menu itself measures about 6" x 9", and it has been applied to a larger piece of paper. It is a chromolithographic image of a woman in Asian clothing holding a tray with Champagne. People dance at a ball on the ship up top and the menu is written on a giant fan. Printed in Marseille. In addition to being glued down, t is a corner crease at the bottom-left and a small edge tear and some thinning at the bottom edge. Pieces of the backing paper are missing behind the menu.GUARANTEED ORIGINAL - NO REPRODUCTIONS!EMAIL: I COMBINE SHIPPING - SEE MY OTHER ITEMS! The free listing tool.
