1901 O Silver Dollar ; Morgan Type 90 % silver uncirculated .This is a wonderful coin,clean Brilliant surfaces,nice luster and minimal bag marks.It has all original surface ; great eye appeal .This is out of an Old Collection I recently bought and is a nice example collected long before PCGS grading.This coin is really a screamer and could go to them for formal grading.90% silver,almost an ounce of silver and 110 years old shipping first class.Scroll down for pictures you will like this coin or money back,.See listings for other coins;will combine items to lessen shipping.no handling charges Congress passed the Bland-Allison Act in 1878, over the veto of President Rutherford Hayes. The law required the U.S. Mint to buy several million dollars worth of silver every month and strike it into Silver Dollars. Mint engraver Charles Morgan designed the new dollar coin. It came to be known as the Morgan Silver Dollar. From 1878 to 1904 and then again in 1921, millions of Morgan Dollars were minted at several different mints around the country: • The Philadelphia Mint usually struck the largest number of silver dollars due to the fact that it was at the center of the nation’s population during this time.
