I have on offer a charming enamel and sterling silver vesta. The vesta has a comical enamel illustration of a lady and gentleman who have fallen off their bicycle; the ladies legs are waving in the air and the man is lying on the floor next to her. The vesta dates to 1901. The inside of the lid of the vesta is hallmarked with an anchor, a lion and the letter 'b'. There is also the silversmiths mark which reads: W.H.H, the silversmith who produced this fine piece in William Hair Hasler of Birmingham. There is a loop to the top of the vesta. The vesta is in overall good condition for its age, with some small signs of surface wear to the silver. Dimensions: 4.6cm x 3.4cm
