For Sale is my 1901 Zon-O-Phone Type "C".This is the third style "C" with the humped bedplate with the raised edge, Serial #14157.The machine is in very good shape and plays and displays well! The cabinet retains its excellent original finish, with wear to the celluloid tag as can be seen in the photos. The cabinet still retains its original feet, and the turntable still retains its original felt. The nickel on the crank, bedplate, turntable and support arm are in very good shape, with the nickel on the tone arm and reproducer being excellent. The reproducer does not have any identifying marks on it, but I believe it to be an early Columbia style, (I have not rebuilt it as it still plays well). The horn is the correct early Zonophone horn with a 8 11/16" diameter bell, and has a wonderful original patina, with nary a dent.I have cleaned and adjusted the motor, and re-greased the original spring. It will play thru a 7" Emerson record, as seen in the video.Reproduction parts are the horn cradle and the bedplate mounting screws, I also had to replace a corner block inside the cabinet. This is a very nice original machine that you will be proud to display.Buyer pays actual shipping. Thank You, Zwebie.
