The AEAA is exceptionally pleased to present the next of a mammoth group of approximately (120) Rare & beautiful Mt. Washington + Rodefer Glass / hand finished C.F. Monroe, Wave Crest pieces, to be sold over several auctions. This lot represents an impressive Helmschmeid Swirl, Mt. Washington Opal glass round blank, deep switch jewel box, finished in a lovely accented autumn floral spray. This special pattern box is in wonderful condition, dating between ca. 1902 & 1904, standing 4.25 x 4.25 x 3 inches tall, and weighing 1#. Helmschmeid Swirl matches can be seen throughout The Glass Of C.F. Monroe / by Wilfred Cohen, with ours currently listing in the $275-$325 range. This classic Mt.
