1902-ANTIQUE PRINT-Pretty Maiden Hears Fairy Voices-Owl

ANTIQUE 1902 PRINT -THE VOICES OF FAIRYLAND

I am offering an antique print by artist C. Von Bodenhausen entitled "The Voices of Fairyland." This piece of art is over 100 years old and was printed in 1902.

This picture is a time-honored German story which it illustrates; telling how a maiden whose home was embittered by harsh parents and sisters, a sort of Cinderella, as it might be, fell asleep beside a haunted stream, and was awakened by the voice of the pitying fairies, who presaged for her a grand future, which in due course came to pass, for she was wooed and won by a handsome price in disguise, and became a queen and the ruler over the wicked people whose cruelty had once oppressed her.

There is absolutely no foxing on the print and it would look gorgeous matted and framed. The dimensions of the image are 7 x 5 inches and the overall print measures roughly 9 x 7. PLEASE NOTE: This print is from an antique art journal. There is text below the image describing the print (not shown in picture) and another image with text on the REVERSE side of the page. The print is on thick semi-gloss stock paper. This is NOT a recent reproduction but a GENUINE antique print - guaranteed! Please look at my other antique prints I have for sale and save on shipping!
