is a rare RPPC REAL photo Northwest Wash. post card. This circa 1902 ( looks like -- it is a undivided back card ) Odessa Washington cancelled UDB undivided back view shows a view of the central Washington Grant County town in 1902 that only had 60 people living thee in 2000. It had a bank in 1903 so it was starting to be a little boom town. The card was written my Ruth Snook and sent to Mr. Lynn Miller of Altoona Pennsylvania by this hearty early Northwest pioneer. You can see a man showing his draft horse with several buckboard wagons in the corall and cows and otehr horse drawn farm equipment. T are poplar trees which acted as a windbreak and the ooutbuildings of his homstead. In the background, you can make out about seven other buildings and the young fruit trtee orchard grove. Caption reads " ( written by Ms. Snook ) on front This is Krupp ~~ One of our Sage Brush cities. Nine Miles from my homestead. Miss Ruth Snook Odessa, Washington. ". I have a nice selection of some of the early cards up at this time ~~ so check out the other auctions. It is in very good condition but a bit washed out by the flash VERY GOOD TONES IN PERSON.
