1902 UNITED TYPOTHETAE U.T.A. Pittsburgh Convention Souvenir Book This is an old fabulous soft paper Souvenir book 10 1/2" by 8 1/2" with a picture plate on the front cover and a string tie though the pages. Cover reads "SIXTEENTH ANNUAL CONVENTION U.T.A. AT PITTSBURGH SEPTEMBER NINETEEN HUNDRED AND TWO". The first page reads " Sixteenth Annual Convention UNITED TYPOTHETAE". Another pages says "Beginning of the Nineteenth Century". Book is highly illustrated on heavy shiny smooth paper. First illustration is a color skyline from South Side. The first section has many photos to a page on the History of Pittsburgh. T are pages of photos of past Presidents of U.T.A. Officers, Executives, Committee members, Chairmen,.list of names. An article on the origins of United Typothetae, and a program schedule for the events held at Hotel Schenley. The last almost half of the book is all advertisements, some in brilliant color, T are Ads for printing machines, Inks, papers, presses. Some of the ads are for The Miehle, Chas.
