This is an early 1903 walnut stock with the fingergrooves. I removed it from a Remington 1903 rifle that I recieved from the CMP. (This was NOT one of the Greek returns. It was a VFW rifle) The stock has several visable stamps on the left wrist. T is a "U" and an "F" in the cutout. Then t is a small boxed "D.A.L." Then t is an unboxed "S.A.D.A.L." Then t is a larger boxed "SA JFC". T are two circled "P" on the bottom of the stock. It has a "U" on the inside w the reciever sits. The stock has a very nice, old military finish with several dings and dents from military service. It has crossbolts. This stock has a few cracks so it probably should be bought for the history and not for a shooter. It would make an excellent stock for your early, collectable 1903 rifle. No international shipments. Payment is due not later than 10 days after the auction closes. Please feel free to email me with any questions before bidding. Please check my other auctions for other items.
