1903 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 67. A fully white gem. Has a great look. In fact, exquisitely detailed motifs and mirror-deep fields harmonize nicely on both sides. Brilliant in every respect on both sides as well. The 1903 Proofs, few of which remain in this grade, typically come without cameo details, as the die preparation was modified from that of earlier years. This is even more forcefully apparent in the Morgan dollar Proofs compared to those of the 1890s (where heavy frost on the motifs was standard). A superb gem with exquisite eye appeal. As a Proof 67, certified and safely encapsulated, the coin is among the finest Proofs of 1903 ever offered. A sparkling gem that will no doubt pass any critic's test you wish to evaluate it with, for it is that spectacular. Only 755 proofs struck. Pop 24; 5 finer in 68. (PCGS # 7338).
