* PLEASE NOTE * WE'LL ALSO BE PUTTING UP SOME OTHER VERY NICE ORIGINAL ANTIQUE VICTROLAS, PHONOGRAPHS and CYLINDER PLAYERS THIS WEEK SO PLEASE CHECK THEM ALL OUT * with no reserve is a Victor One Talking Machine (Victor the First as they named it) ...serial # 45115. This model was first manufactured in 1903 and it looks like new and it should...a lot of time and effort has gone into a complete and professional restoration. The solid oak case has had 3 coats of hand rubbed lacuer applied...all the original parts that were nickel have been professionally re-nickeled...the back bracket was done by the best in the business...the original horn is untouched as t was absolutely nothing wrong with it and I'd put it at least in the top 98% of the 1000s of horns I've ever seen...the original paint and Nipper decal are really remarkable. The motor cranks up smoothly and runs like new and the Exhibition reproducer has had new gaskets installed so this is one loud little machine. The only thing not original is the crank...it's a quality reproduction. This really is as nice as it gets and would make a special Christmas gift to that special someone...even if that's you yourself! Please take a peek at all the pictures and be sure to check out all our other antique phonographs & victrolas and related items that we'll be putting up. We have an excellent reputation on and off ebay for selling and servicing these antique phonographs and as a Power Seller award winner you can feel very comfortable placing bids I charge nothing for careful packing...no handling fees...shipping to the lower 48 will be $59... overseas at cost. Happy Holidays everyone and good luck with the auction.
I forgot to mention the booklet that you see in some of the pics is the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ASSEMBLY AND CARE of the VICTOR TALKING MACHINE for "VICTOR I "...it's 14 pages with pics and diagrams that also go along with this auction.
