This is a Wonderful Victorian Calendar- pretty to hang for display, use the quotes & just enjoy! It's from my Great Grandmother's collection of historic paper memorabilia. The front says "John J. Gooley Year Book 1903" with a brief sermon from the Reverend John himself. The top of the calendar is bound with a delicate brass victorian clip-with a loop- ready to hang and enjoy. Inside you will find a quote for each day- such as" the world has know no such tyrant as the saloon", "the church must enter politics or the world will die", "Christianity is good character expressed in conduct", and "Earth is heaven in the rough" The calendar pages are a little rough around the edges-(see pictures) on the front page especially. The rest of the pages are in better shape-but in all in all it's pretty great shape for being 104+ years old! The paper texture is like a heavy newsprint/ manilla paper.
