1904-O Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67. Old green holder. Wonderful color on both sides. A glowing freshness is emitted from undisturbed original toned surfaces. The effect that is created is one of richness and beyond, superb beyond compare. Pop 25; none finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 7292). 1904 is the year that saw the release of Edwin S. Porter`s `The Great Train Robbery,` the first well-known American film. The 14-minute, single-reel movie was also featured at the opening of the first modern movie theater in 1905, in Pittsburgh. Porter, working in Thomas Edison`s laboratory, developed the principle of editing. By piecing together films from the stockroom he had earlier made `The Life of an American Fireman,` which was released in 1903 to a limited audience.
