I'm listing an eclectic selection of museum quality antiques and collectibles, and I suspect that there will be something of interest to just about everybody. Here's a beautiful Luminor half-plate view camera manufactured in Paris in the first decade of the last century. The camera comes with its original tripod and two original plate holders. Condition of the camera is excellent to near mint throughout. Wood appears to be walnut or teak, and the joints are tongue-in-groove, all beautifully executed. Brass fittings are original, with light tarnish consistent with their age, but no rust or corrosion. The ground glass is original, and it's in excellent condition, with no cracks, scratches or other damage. Bellows are original and almost like new. They appear to be light tight, but I have not tested them for leaks. Rapid Rectilinear lens is original to the camera, and it's in excellent condition, with no issues. Plate holders are also in excellent condition (close to mint), and they're working properly. Front standard slides easily along the rack and pinion extension tracks, and the camera folds up perfectly.
