I have a lot of good silver listed now and always at low opening bids and low shipping, so please check out my other auctions! This is a really nice detailed, ornate antique sterling silver souvenir spoon from San Francisco, California. It commemorates the great earthquake and fire of 1906 that destroyed much of the city. The goldwashed bowl is hand-engraved with a detailed scene of the "City Hall Ruins, Apr. 18/06 San Francisco." The engraving is detailed and well-done. It has a really nice California handle. The top has the state seal, then grapes, then the old Victorian Cliff House in San Francisco, then "California". It is good sized, about 5" long. It is in very good condition, with a little tarnish on the back, nothing else. No monogram or other engraving than that noted. It is marked "Sterling" on the back of the handle with the two birds flanking an M hallmark for Manchester. It is not tarnished and has a nice patina. PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS! RETURN POLICY: If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have won from me, I have a no-questions-asked full refund policy. Please return the item within 14 days in good condition.
