1907 HARRISON FISHER COLOR PRINT - KNEEL FAIR SAINT This attractive color print of a Harrison Fisher drawing was published by Grosset and Dunlap in a 1907 book. The image includes Fisher's signature and the year "1907." The print comes with two decorated pages of William Makepeace Thackeray poetry: "Kneel undisturb'd, fair saint!/Pour out your praise or plaint/Meekly and duly;/I will not enter t,/To sully your pure prayer/With thoughts unruly." Page size is about 6 3/4 by 9 1/2 inches. The page is in very good condition with some minor age toning, staining, and creasing, as well as a slight scratch at the bottom of the image. These slight defects detract little, and most could be concealed by a mat. Printed on substantial, slightly glossy paper. The reverse is blank. Very suitable for framing.
