This is a truly rare image of the Seawright Springs Hotel , posted 1907 at Longglade, Va.....near Staunton in Augusta County........the hotel did not open until June 1909 and burned to the ground a month later in July 1909, apparently by arson......obviously this photograph was taken during construction.....several men in shirt and tie appear on the porch and the grounds are cluttered........the hotel was never rebuilt.......the Springs are noted for Seawright Springs Natural Spring Water, bottled and sold widely.........condition excellent++ to near mint.......no creases, strong corners, bright image.......published by Beverly Book Co. of Staunton...........thanks for your interest.........we use PayPal, money order, cashiers check.......mailing is $1.50 with careful packaging.
