1908 $2 1/2 Indian Head United States GOLD COIN GOLD INDIAN HEAD QUARTER EAGLE Incuse Indian Head Design This genuine $2 1/2 gold coin was struck at the U.S. government Mint in Philadelphia over 100 years ago. Grades Very Fine (VF) condition. $2 1/2 gold coins were nicknamed "Quarter Eagles" because they are quarter the weight of the ten dollar gold pieces and contain 12.0935% of an ounce of gold. THIS COIN IS VERY RARE! T were only 564,821 minted and after the 1933 GOLD MELT DOWN, t can't be many still in existence. This coin is a beautiful addition to any collection, a great investment!
