You are bidding on 1908 Indian Head $5 Gold Coin I recently obtained a lot of 22 coins at an estate sale (believe it or not). I am not a coin collecter, nor do I have even the basic knowledge of coins. I took these coins to a gold buyer who tested four (4) out of the lot of 22. All four (4) coins tested positive for the presence of gold. Without incurring an additional cost to have these coins certified, there is no way for me to determine the gold content in these coins. The gold buyer obviously wanted to melt them down for purchase and offered me pennies for what they are probably worth to a collector. I attempted to research on these coins to find that the only real way to determine the gold content is to have the coins appraised by a certified coin dealer. **This coin has not been certified. ** I have no interest in the coins, and decided to take my chances on EBAY. You will receive the exact coin shown in the photos. I will be glad to answer any questions the best I can.
