This listing is for a pair (2) 1908 (NO MOTTO type) $20 St. Gaudens Double Eagle Gold coins. NGC graded MS - 63 . Both coins are similar in appearance featuring beautiful and bright gold coloration, strong feature definition, along with excellent luster. Minor surface defects are present but overall the coins appear 'eye-clean' with swirling gold fields. Strikes are strong including nice definition of the rays on the reverse. These are both excellent and problem free coins.
Over the past decade mint state gold coins have been steadily appreciating in price, year over year, due to both numismatic rarity and precious metal value. The continued rise in the price of gold has led to dramatically increased demand for graded gold coins, such as offered here, among both collectors and investors. PAYMENT: Payment can be made via Paypal, e-check, or personal check (please note that some forms of payment will require clearance and items can not and will not be shipped until payment has cleared). Payment or contact regarding payment form within 48 hours of the close of this auction is appreciated. (Due to current price fluctuations I will reserve the right to re-list any coin/gold item where the auction has closed and the buyer has not made contact/payment within the 48 hour post-auction period). RETURNS: There is a seven day - full, no questions asked - return policy from date item is received by the buyer. Full refund of the selling price is guaranteed for any reason during this 7 day period with the following exceptions: 1) Coins sent in a graded or protective holder must be returned with that holder intact. Removal of a coin from its holder, or breakage of the holder will VOID the return guarantee. 2) Coins sent without holders must be returned without having sustained damaged or defacement - if a buyer receives a coin that is different from the coin scans or shows damage not reflected by the scans or identified in the coins' description, prompt contact from the buyer regarding this to the seller is expected. If damage to the coin appears to have occurred in transit, then opportunity for coin replacement (if possible) or full refund will be provided. For items that are returned for refund, the cost of the return shipping will be the responsibility of the BUYER (we will be bearing all other expenses, so this is only fair!) SHIPPING: Shipping will generally be provided via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation ( signature confirmation - on some items) for protection of both parties. Shipping of gold coins is self-insured - signature upon receipt for these items will be required. For high valued shipments USPS Registered Mail will be utilized. Shipping will generally occur within two business days of payment clearance. International buyers must be aware of any import restrictions (coins/gold/numismatics) that may apply to them - delivery guarantee and insurability may not be possible or may be limited on international shipping of this item.
