Les is writing to Celina.Telling 12 pages of historical facts and history.In this 107 year old nice looking original letter lot. 100s of handwritten words here.Cover included in this lot. Speaks of the Officers on deck.Dressed in their tight trousers,appearance.Nice English crew onboard. They are heading for foggy weather.They have net screens on the side of the ship for the moisture.Eating Lobster,fish,etc. Will not be able to write for three weeks. He will be out to sea.Playing games onboard.What types,crew was fun to be with.Sounds like Les.Is in some kind of Normal School for Girls.Letter is addressed to North Hackensack,New Jersey! Have not researched this letter or contents.So much more to read here.Could write a book about this letter? It appears that this letter is what it details. Mentions alot of talk about how things were on this famous ship.Getting dressed ion the coops. Sounds like they were tight quarters in the letter...Just imagine penning this letter. In 1909 from this ship she was on! From a steamer chair onboard the deck it said on top of letter.It is dated just three years before it would rescue the victims of Titanic.Talks of waking up in the morning.
