Recently aquired at an estate auction is a very unique, 1909 RPPC (real picture post card) of a group of Berry Pickers at B. A. Wilson's - a group which looks to include at least four American Indians. I'm sure the guys in full Indian Dress were probably just stopping by to check on the others - I can't imagine they picked berries with those head dresses! This postcard is sent from Dowagiac MI, a city named after an Indian (tribe). The wind is blowing so the feather head dresses are blowing forward...interesting photo! This card is postally used and has slightly bumped corners,. Postcards are shipped in a brown manilla, bubble padded envelope with cardboard stiffeners. Should you require insurance, please let me know and I can include it in your invoice.
