This fan is nearly 100 years old and it is in excellent and original condition. It works perfectly, it runs smooth and quiet. It is an oscillating fan, and the oscillating mechanism is working fine. However, t is a lever that is missing (at the top of the housing) and this prevents the fan from oscillating. It probably would not be too difficult to fabricate a replacement lever. The blades are brass, and so is the cage guard and support brackets. The overall height of the fan is 18". The blades measure 12" across. T is an "off & on" switch mounted in the base, it is original and and it works fine. The fan is quite heavy, the base is cast iron. It weighs about 30 pounds. Notice the fancy castings on the base and column. I have a couple other fans listed on ebay. Please check my other auctions. Sent anyw in the USA for $60.00.
