1909 Hold to Light~Black Americana Postcard~Tambourine Published by Gottschalk, Dreyfuss & Davis Artist signed postcard featuring a black man playing the tambourine. A beach scene in the background is appropriate for the HTL image of two bathing beauties. Titled: "Look Thro". Illustrated and signed by William Henry Ellam. Published by Gottschalk, Dreyfuss & Davis, New York. Printed in Germany. View No. 2035. Slightly rounded corners. Age toning and light soiling verso. A few small stains on the front, difficult to see. Unused however, partially addressed to Miss Olive Pettet at 1103 E. Palmer Street, City? Ink dated 1909 verso.
