Hi all; I am adding this snippet---T have been 105 visits (more than 10 a day) with 9 watchers. This will sell--sooner than later. I have a figure in mind I will not go below for sure--BUT, if the buyer pays the buy it now price I WILL ADD 2 other Indians--I will add the 1909 Philadelphia Mint and the 1908-S San Francisco Mint!!!--YEP--I'm serious-2 very nice coins and one, the 08-s, one of the key/semi keys!!! -Both these coins are raw, ungraded but both will be at least vf and up to ef. Again, I will add both these coins if the buy it now is completed.-- OK Folks: Up for auction is THE KEY DATE for the Indian Head Cents--IHC's--This is a very fine example of the 1909-s. And I say very fine not as a graded condition, as I am not a professional grader, but as my personnel opinion of this very fine coin. I reviewed the ANA Photograde Standards and I do feel this coin fits within the vf grade range. Again, my personnel opinion only. But having said that, on the obverse the words LIBERTY are fully ledgible. The diamonds are not used as a grading standard as many of the coins did not exhibit well struck diamonds. However and generally, you can usually see them clearly in ef examples and higher. On this coin perhaps you can see one. So the ef range is too high but qualifyies in the vf range. So does the description of the headband and feathers. One area not covered in this range and visible on the Indian's neck of this coin (slightly visible but visible) is the necklace. Alot of folks don't realize in higher grades t is a necklace clearly visible. On the reverse the benchmarks for a vf coin are also met. The leaves and ribbon bow show details clearly. A close up of the mint mark is provided in the pictures. This is a nice coin folks. The buy it now price will be fair and I will entertain reasonable offers. Please do not make a low offer as you will be wasting your and my time. This coin ships on the day following receipt of payment, fully insured, priority mail.
