1909 D Indianhead $5 (Half Eagle) Gold Coin Unrated
Descriptionof this beautiful United States gold coin~ Presented is a beautiful, 1990 $5.00 Liberty Head Gold Half Eagle, unrated. This extraordinary coin possesses nice mint luster, an exceptional strike, gorgeous yellow-golden coloring, great detail, very deep ridges on the reeded rim, and very little overall wear. M ost collectors would be delighted owning this gorgeous gold coin, and I sincerely thank you for taking the time to view My listing. What you should know about purchasing gold coins~ The greatest destruction of gold coins occurred during massive gold meltdowns of the Great Depression years. Millions of U.S. gold coins were recalled to the U.S. treasury in 1933 where they were melted into gold bars and forever destroyed. From 1933 to 1975, it was a crime to purchase or possess gold coins. As a result, certain dates have become nearly extinct, making them almost priceless in the eyes of collectors. Even the more common dates are becoming increasingly scarce. Only a tiny fraction of the original mintages have survived to this day. Today, almost all of the desirable specimens, such as we sell, have been reduced to just a few thousand (or less) of most years, making them among the scarcest of any coins ever minted in the United States . ~Customer Satisfaction Policy~ Your satisfaction is very important to me, and I am also proud of my 100% eBay customer satisfaction record. Your purchase comes with an unconditional 3 day, no questions asked return privilege, provided that the coin remains in the condition that you received it in. Thanks for visiting my auction. Note: FREE Shipping! There was an error on my eBay listing. Shipping was supposed to be $6.50 and not $650. Sorry for the error....Unfortunately eBay rules will not let you delete and information from a listing once a bid is made, but does allow corrections by addition. To Correct this error, I will therefore provide FREE Shipping for the winner of this auction, and it is really a great coin. Again, sorry for the mistake! Thanks, Larry
