You are bidding on a rare "Lenox" clam shell style 10-count cigarette box that originally packaged Lenox Mouthpiece Cigarettes.My research shows only certain factories, districts and states packaged baseball cards with their tobacco products.The Factory No. 30 2nd District, State of New York caption on this box matches the T206 baseball cards that were issued in the Lenox cigarette packages.In my research, I found a WEB site called Jon Canfield's Baseball Related Cigarette and Tobacco Packs where there is information on the T206 cards and a chart of the factories, districts and states that issued baseball cards in the cigarette packages. This site also discusses the varieties of cigarette packs and gives information on this Lenox clam shell style box.Lenox was a brand of the American Tobacco Company.This box is over 100 years old and has some wear as can be expected. The clam shell hinge is totally in tact, the inside of the box is really clean. All labeling is clear. The 1909 tax stamp is still attached and legible as shown in the pictures above.The pictures above also clearly show:The back edge of the lid has wear along the top but the design on the box is still in tact.The paper has come loose on the corner of the box to the right of that rubbing.The blue tax stamp seems to have torn away and left some blue paper long side of
