is a rare opportunity to buy a wonderful piece of John Deere history. This is a 1909 Surrey, made by John Deere, in St. Louis, Missouri. The condition of this surrey is absolutely excellent for it's age. No rot, no bug damage, it is as original as any antique I have ever seen. No one has messed with this thing at all!! The only area that shows any damage is the top of the surrey and some of the fringe around the edge. I have done my best to picture it. The surrey was purchased in eastern Ohio, the last owner, owned it for about 5 years, he purchased it from Virginia, from the original owners, this is the first time it has been up for public sale. It has it's original tag, which we have removed...so it doesn't get legs..lol, also it has it's original side curtains, which were still in their original packaging, and never been used. The previous owner did remove them from the packages. The surry is located in Rochester, Indiana and can be seen at any time upon appointment.
