Up for auction is THE 1909-S VDB. If these old coins could talk they could tell some stores. This one can tell one. In 1972 I was stationed at the Grand Forks Air Force base in North, Dakota. It was winter and very cold so there wasn't muct to do so my wife and I would take our pay checks, go to the bank and turn it in to pennys. We would spend several days going through them to find the keepers. This coin was found in one of those searches. We would turn all those pennys back to the bank so we could pay our bills untill the next pay day. I do not grade my coins so you grade before bidding. I do combine shipping if purchased the same day. I ship daily except Sunday. Note: I am not a coin dealer but a collector since 1948 and I am selling all my coins for retirement.
