This is a very early A.A. Waterman black hard rubber pen with sterling silver filagree in the original box. A long pen, just under 6 inches, the pen has the correct twist filler (with the arrow on it) on the barrel end. The sterling silver filagree is marked "sterling". T is no engraving on the indicia. The nib is marked "Arthur Waterman & Co. New York, No. 2, 14k, Not Connected With The LE Waterman Co." T are no dents in the silver. The black hard rubber, which is very black, does have some scratches which do not diminish the beauty of this rare pen. Equally rare is the A.A. Waterman box which has no tears. Sterling silver A.A. Waterman pens are significantly rare, especially in this early filagree model. T is a modest reserve for this pen. I sell pens infrequently, but the ones I do sell are high quality, with any imperfections or faults fully described. I offer a money back guarantee on every pen I sell. I have several other nice pens that I am selling at this time. Click to see them Shipping within the continental United States is by USPS Priority Mail and costs $7.00 plus insurance if desired.
