It is a hold-to-light card showing a little boy with a basket of eggs and a bouquet of violets. Some small chicks are playing at his feet. When held to the light, all the "eggs" in the picture light up, including all the tiny eggs comprising the large egg framing the boy. no manufacturer name no publisher name no number The card is in: Good condition with light corner and edge wear, a tiny crease in lower left corner and some light soiling in upper right corner. The card is: postally used. Postmarked Spencer, South Dakota, March, 1910 and sent to Miss Minnie Henke, Western, Nebraska. The weight of this mailer and contents for up to five postcards, is 2 ounces. The cost of mailing a 2 ounce rigid mailer and five cards in the US will be $2.00. (International customers will be $2.65.) Service to Canada and Mexico is less than overseas, so please wait for me to invoice you. Your card(s) will then be mailed in a very nice stiff/rigid/cardboard mailer that will help insure their safe arrival to you. To get this type of service, please scroll down on your invoice field, and You then have the option to switch to the higher cost rigid mailer. IMPORTANT: I ENCOURAGE YOU TO OPT FOR THE CARDBOARD MAILER/SLEEVE, BUT THE CHOICE IS YOUR'S. I HAVE HAD TROUBLE IN THE PAST WITH DAMAGED ENVELOPES. I can't give refunds for items damaged in the mail that were sent in a regular #10 envelope. Here is how I grade my cards: If you are a repeat customer, you will know that I am a conservative grader of cards. I would rather have you be pleasantly surprised than disappointed when you receive your card(s). "Good" means lightly bumped or faintly creased corners, and/or light edge wear, and/or light soiling. Good is the highest rating I give my cards. "Fair to Good" means corner wear, edge wear, soiling, and a slight tear or some faint creasing. "Fair" means corner wear, edge wear, soiling, and more than one tear or crease. "Poor to fair" means corner wear, edge wear, soiling, and moderate to significant creasing. "Poor" is a quality that I seldom use. It means the card is right on the brink of being tossed in the trash, and is only offered for sale because the card is unusual or unique in some way, and someone may need it for a collection until a 'better' one comes along. I never use "mint" as all my cards are used in some way, and even though they may look perfect, I can't vouch for how someone else will see the card. I sometimes will use "virtually no sign of wear" to indicate a card that looks unused, and is uncreased and squeaky clean. I invoice every morning, for sales made the previous day.
